I was just reading that post from Ms. De Witt-Gallagher that I featured a few weeks earlier. She says—not in these exact words, but: "Many of you have known me the majority of my life."
That sounds wrong to me. I think it should be: the greater part of my life. Not a huge matter, but stylistically important.
