Too Much Going On

I used to report here a sort of summary of all the stupid nonsense that took place every couple of days, but no longer.   There's too much lying and rhetoric coming out of the government for me to distill it for your consumption.

The big story is that they pushed a bill through congress to (1) reduce funding for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and FEMA; (2) they are making a fuss about Biden not revealing how sick he was before the elections.  (3) They're deporting immigrants to countries those immigrants aren't even from.  And, of course, (4) they accepted as immigrants a score of white South Africans, fleeing what they declare is a black South African government bent on 'genocide', that is, that those governments want to exterminate the small remaining white minority.

Some of pres 47's supporters are sure to support any government action that helps whites in any way.  In the past, our INS (immigration service) has viewed applicants who have potential to be helpful here.

Get what you can out of this small report!

I'm beginning to wonder exactly what gave the Republicans a victory in the most recent general elections.

▪︎ Of course, Trump said he would lower inflation right away.  That he would bring down the prices of groceries.  That he would lower the price of gasoline.  Of these, he only succeeded in lowering gas prices.

▪︎ He said he would allow down the rate at which immigrants cross the Mexican border.   To some degree this has been done.  In addition, he's trying to export immigrants on any sort of excuse, including protesting against anything, including US foreign policy.  The problem with this approach is that he's sending many of our friends and fellow liberals into dangerous foreign prisons.  Well, people on green cards should not protest any longer; they should leave the protesting to citizens.

▪︎ JFK Jr has been appointed to head the Health Service.  This makes the Anti-Vaxxers happy, but Mr. Kennedy is shutting down many aspects of the public-health programs that work really well.  Many in Government pretend that they too are against vaccinations, but the word on the street is that all Congressmen and senators innoculate themselves and their families in secret.  I shouldn't spread rumors like that without evidence, but if that's true, it seems unfair that they pretend one belief, but act on another.

But these things were not enough to persuade the population—especially the voters in the big swing states, like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and Arizona—to vote for Trump in such large numbers.  There have to have been other forces at play.

Did the GOP somehow get women to stay at home on election day?  Remember there was such a scandal about wives voting a different way than their husbands?

Did the GOP pressure Blacks and Minorities not to vote?  (Was there hanky panky at the poll booths?)

Not being conspiracy-theory inclined, I, for one, don't take those sorts of ideas seriously.  But having seen how Musk handled 'doge', I'm thinking how easy it would have been for his team to have hacked into the polling computers.  They only needed to hack into a few critical polling stations.  'Find me a few thousand votes' indeed.
