OMG. There's pictures of birds ('birbs'). Puppies doing cute things. Little babies doing cute things. Girls doing cute dances. Deer being cute with a dog. Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull being adorable, and Caitlin making a cute face and asking for 'Love'.
That last one was a fake account with Caitlin's name on it; I'm sure Caitlin has a lot more class than to beg for Love on Fb.
Evidently, it suits Meta to allow these fake accounts on Fb, to maximize the time users spend on the app, so that they can be shown the greatest amount of advertising. So it's not only sex that sells; it's also cuteness. Instagram and TikTok, and YouTube all depend on cuteness ("please click on the subscribe button,") and now YouTube, too.
They've made cuteness into a commodity.
